Fact Sheet: Interceptors

Interceptors, otherwise known as separators, are large underground tanks fitted on the drainage system. They protect the environment from oil pollution by separating the oil from water discharge and retaining it on site until it can be removed. This fact sheet will explain the different types of interceptors and their uses.
